Today as I checked my email I ran across an article that contained concepts that were supposed to help someone have "peace of mind". I didn't bother reading it entirely because I knew most of what it said was garbage from the pits of hell.
I decided to ponder the thought of why some may perceive that peace of mind comes from following some order of man made methodology and I thought about how I have come to the place where I have complete peace of mind. After much deliberation and prayer I decided to share.
Peace of mind doesn't just come to you. It isn't something that you can go to the store and pick up. It isn't something that you can deliberately plan by saying "Okay, I have my goals and I've started working on them, now I will get the peace of mind I want because I'm doing everything I wanted to do". Sorry, but that just isn't how you get it.
I will agree that there are some simple actions that you can follow but I in no way agree with the concept that peace of mind comes from your own doing because it doesn't.
For the majority of my life I have earnestly yearned for peace of mind and wondered what the heck I was doing wrong and why I didn't have peace yet.
Well the answer is quite simple folks, it's because you haven't prayed for it. Peace of mind comes from God. It comes from walking in faith and believing in him so that you don't worry about one single tribulation of this world.
Yes you are going to get weary and the road may get tough. You may cry some times but even through the midst of those things you can still have peace!
If you want true peace of mind kneel and PRAY to God for peace. Seek PEACE through the TRUTH of his word and then WALK in the TRUTH by FAITH.
That there folks is how I got my peace of mind. How about you?
For the word of GOD says in Philippians 4:7...
"And the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

You are so right - true peace comes only from God and seeking Him. His peace surpasses all understanding.
