About

Greetings Everyone!  If this is your first time here at A Peaceful Crib, Welcome!  I am so glad that you decided to visit.  Let me tell you a little about myself...

I am a daughter of God, wife of a wonderful husband, and mother to a very rambunctious two year old girl.  A Peaceful Crib was created because God told me it was time to leave my old blogging identity (Latoya @ The Scott's Crib) behind in lieu of blogging for his Glory.

I gladly accepted my calling and I am here to inspire women with the word of God and my testimony.  I'll also pursue topics involving Christianity, motherhood, marriage, do it yourself projects (sometimes), and frugal living (sometimes).  Basically my blog is for God, whatever He lays on my heart to share will be what I write here in this space.

I hope you'll stay awhile and join me in this new season of my life and come and see how truly good God is to me!

If you are new here start with these posts (they are a few of my favorites):

Little known tidbits about me:

I love the Lord!
I love chocolate.
I love Merlot.
I really don't like shopping.
I hate grocery stores.
I don't like 2 year old tantrums, they are the worst, but I tolerate them.
I like making ugly faces.  They amuse my daughter.  They turn my hubby off, lol.
I don't like politics.  Don't like the drama that folks create around it.
Church drama, don't do that either.
I over-thank waiters and waitresses.  Actually I don't think it's possible to over-thank them.
Fat chubby babies make my heart melt.
I'm scared when I hold babies 6 lbs and under because I think I might break them.
I'm weird.
I love hard.  Very hard.
Easily intimidated.
I love hearing the old folks sang in church.  And yes it is sang, not sing:)
Don't leave the bread bowl in front of me.  I might eat your piece.
I love natural hair.
I have a brother.  13 years younger than me.  My mom...mama that was just crazy you know?:)
One person I miss and would love to talk to again:  my granny.
One person I never met and would love to have a conversation with:  Several.  Mainly Tupac. I think he was misunderstood.
I was determined to stalk my husband until he agreed to go with me:)
I'm weird.  Yes I'm writing this a second time.
I love writing.
I love designing.
I love God's word.
Okay, that's enough don't you think?
Subscribe, I know you'll probably learn a lot more about me than this:)
